A distressed cry for help summons a dramatic return to Narnia, now torn in two by treachery – and a war of deliverance. A false king has seized Narnia's throne, and corruption ensnares the land in his iron grip. Many Narnians have been forced into hiding, and the Great Lion, Aslan, has not been seen for a very long time. Only a brave few under the banner of the true king stand defiant, as they fight to restore the young prince to his rightful throne even as all hope seems lost.
